The Desk!
Brenna's new desk! Thank you Miss Elizabeth for spotting the desk, then realizing it's potential and restoring it! We all love it, and it looks great in her room!
My baby is almost 1!
My baby is almost one and he's generally up to no good. He loves to get crackers out of the snack cabinet and walk into the living room eating one, with a "what?" expression on his face. Any opportunity he gets to play in the toilet, he takes it. Therefore any man, woman or child that leaves the bathroom door open gets in big trouble! He is walking like he's been doing it forever and he's almost running, but as you can see he still has to be tipped back when drinking out of his sippy cup.....he just doesn't get it yet : D

almost a new year....
I'm going to seriously get serious about blogging more, not because I have that many family or friends into blogging, but because I want to make a book out of my blog at the end of the year. Check it out here! I'm ordering a picture book of 2010 and next year I want to go a step further and have some stories to go with my pics. My goal is to blog once a week for an entire year. Saturday evenings after the kids go to bed will be my time to blog so if you see me or talk to me, keep me accountable! <3

Baby's First Easter
Every Easter is special, we celebrate that Christ has risen and that he lives. Christ is alive and is totally and utterly relevant in the lives of Christians and non-Christians. However this Easter was especially special ; ) for two reasons, first it was Liam's first Easter, second it was Poppa's last. We loved Poppa dearly and were so grateful we got to spend Easter with him. He was a wonderful man and he will be surely missed. We rejoice in the fact that all his Easters will now be spent face to face with his Savior and Nanny.

1st Place for April Fools
That's right, I made up my own award for April Fools jokes and gave myself 1st place! You want to know what the last thing a husband wants to hear three months after his third child.....Honey I'm Pregnant! Of course he says yeah right April Fools, but then when you back it up with a pregnancy test and offer to go buy another one, oh yeah. I've seen the blood drain from his face when he get shots/gets blood drawn(he's a big weenie) but I've never seen it drain this fast! I'm numero uno, queen of April Fools this year!

To Catch Up!
My Birth Story:
Saturday, January 9th I woke up two days past my due date about as miserable as could be, feeling like there was no end in sight. My best bud Elizabeth had mercy on my poor fat soul and took me for a pedicure and we joked about how I would go into labor. Later that day the fam and myself decided to go walk (maybe that would get things going, as if taking care of two other kids isn't equivalent to walking). I started having contractions, but didn't take it seriously because I had been in false labor for the past few weeks. When I got home my contractions started getting a little more intense, so I thought just maybe..Nope they fizzled out again so I called Elizabeth and started chatting with her for a bit and then wham I was beginning to feel some pain so I told her I was going to rest and would call her if anything came of it. About nine pm that night I told Chase we should call the midwives and let them know that we would probably be coming in. I walked, I breathed through the contractions and took a bath and finally said we better go, but still even as uncomfortable as I was getting I thought they might fizzle out. So we left for the birthing center a little before eleven and it was the most uncomfortable ride of my life! We get to the birthing center at 11:26 and the midwife said I was only 4-5 centimeters dilated. How could I be so uncomfortable and only be 4-5? Uncomfortable was nothing compared with what was to come... I got in the birthing tub and labor just hit fast and furious, it was difficult to breathe through the contractions and my midwife lovingly said "don't lose it Jennifer" and with my children cheering me on telling me I could do it, I did and my sweet baby boy was born at 12:34 am. So if I had hung around the house much longer, I would have had a home birth. We got cleaned up,I was able to nurse right away and we were on our way home two hours after. It was by far the best birth experience I have ever had with no interventions and the healthiest outcome. I wish I knew with the other two what I know now but you can't go back so I'm just thankful I have three healthy beautiful children!
